What do I need to bring?
Each signer needs a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, state ID card, passport, or military ID. Also have your complete document ready.
Should I sign my document before you arrive?
No. Please don't sign beforehand. The notary must watch you sign (or have you acknowledge your signature in person), so wait until the appointment.
Do all signers need to be present?
Yes. Every person whose signature is being notarized must be physically present with valid ID at the appointment.
What if my document requires witnesses?
Some documents, like certain wills, need witnesses. Let us know when booking. You can bring your own witnesses (they can't be named in the document), or we can provide or arrange witnesses for you.
Can you help me fill out my document or tell me which form to use?
No. A notary public is not an attorney and cannot give legal advice, choose forms, or explain legal effects. Please contact an attorney for legal questions.
